Global Entrepreneurship Week Shines a Light On

Global Student Entrepreneur of the Year Awards

Student entrepreneurs vie for shot at global title

Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA), the premier business competition for high school, college, and graduate school students, announced that its Global Finals will again be a featured event of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW). Founded by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, GEW is a worldwide celebration of creativity, innovation, and ingenuity designed to inspire entrepreneurial thinking and encourage entrepreneurs to launch new ventures. The GSEA finalists represent the growing youth entrepreneurship movement that will fuel future economies.

“The students who compete in the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards are tomorrow’s job creators,” said Carl Schramm, president and chief executive officer of the Kauffman Foundation. “Year after year, we continue to be amazed at how these fulltime students have the capacity and ability to run revenue-generating companies.”
