Sharing the Lessons of Successful Entrepreneurs
Registration is under way for the upcoming session of Ice House Entrepreneurship facilitator training . Held at the Kauffman Laboratories for Enterprise Creation in Kansas City, Mo., the three session will teach men and women how to bring the new program to their communities. The Ice House Entrepreneurship Program draws on the entrepreneurial influence and eight essential life-lessons author Clifton Taulbert recounts in the book Who Owns the Icehouse?, the story of Taulert’s Uncle Cleve. The interactive program combines narrated chalkboard presentations with video interviews and case studies featuring modern-day entrepreneurs.

Finding a Cure for Health Care
Kauffman Foundation Vice President of Research and Policy Robert Litan discusses the new Kauffman report, “Valuing Health Care: Improving Productivity and Quality,” on MSNBC’s The Dylan Ratigan Show . Litan explains the recommendations of 31 experts from related fields, whom the Foundation convened to reframe thinking around the question, “How can the productivity and value of American health care be increased, in both the short-term and long-term?” Litan also wrote about the issue for The Huffington Post.
