Kauffman Foundation News- Building Founding Teams Twitter Chat, Women Entrepreneurship Call for Research, 65-Year Anniversary of Marion Labs

	This Week at the Kauffman Foundation - June 18, 2015 Twitter Chat to Focus on Building Founding Teams Kauffman Founders School and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will hold a Twitter chat on June 23 from noon to 1 p.m. CDT, to discuss how Millennial entrepreneurs can build strong founding teams. The popular Twitter chat sessions presented by Kauffman and the SBA have focused on various aspects of job creation, the economy, and teaching entrepreneurship. Learn More   A Call for Research Regarding Women Entrepreneurship The Kauffman Foundation is seeking research proposals that explore entrepreneurship as a gendered phenomenon. Scholars are encouraged to submit research topics that will shed light on a wide range of topics that impact successful entrepreneurs, including the systems of socially constructed and widely shared beliefs about the characteristics typically associated with women and men. Proposals are due by August 15. Learn More About Submitting a Proposal   Celebrating 65-Year Anniversary: Video Recalls Ewing Kauffman's Marion Labs A Kauffman Foundation video recounts Ewing Kauffman's entrepreneurial journey, which began sixty-five years ago in June 1950 when he opened Marion Laboratories for business with an initial investment of $5,000.
